Will Work for Chocolate

Yeah, forget grass. If I can only work for one thing I want it to be something yummy. So the second trip we took for a on-site interview was in Portland, Oregon. It was 2 days after we got back from Boston. Lots of flying time! Anyway Erin didn't have to give a presentation this time and interviewing was old hat by now. So we got the day off! First, we thought we should go relax. You know lots of stress trying to keep Erin on track. So we went to this grotto. It was really pretty.

I feel a little off.

We saw lots of pretty plants. Although I didn't know what they all were.

What kind of tree is that?

I wanted to go for a swim but Chris said no. Apparently, that would have negated all the work we did on Erin early that week. Whatever...

Do you think Erin would be mad if we took a dip?

After we got all destressed we went to be edgimicated. We went to OMSI - Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. They were having the Dinosaurs: China's Ancient Giants exhibit. So we got to see big scary monsters. Like what Erin looks like before she puts her face on in the morning. Oo....scary.

Don't look now but I think something is behind us.

Roar! I'm a Tuojiangosaurus and I'm going to eat you.

So after it was all said and done we got to go lots of places. And Erin interviewed with lots of people. She got more offers than I can count on all my hooves. But then again I can't count... Now we just have to wait to see who she goes with. Will it be Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Washington, or another state? She always did like to keep us moving. I'll check my Magic Eight ball later and let you know.

Definitely deserving of some chocolate for all you went through. Just don't share with Franklin...chocolate isn't good for dogs. You can share with me though :-)

Hmmm....sad. Franklin never gets to do anything now he can't have chocolate. I'll cry for him tonight.

Franklin once got into the Peanut Butter M & M's... Or at least that's my story on how they disappeared so quickly.

O Taylor. I almost forgot. I took the sheep to see the big book store in Portland. You would have loved it. It was a city block and 4 stories high. But the engineering and science books were annexed to a building 3 blocks over. Figures. I liked that part almost better. I felt at home with the geeks. What can I say... You would have loved all the books. Every book imaginable and then some I was a little shocked. I even think one of the made me blush...I'll let you imagine what kind of book would make me blush.

Oh I bet it was "1000 Facial Liquids"

You've only been pretending to be grossed out by facial liquids, but I've got you now
