Dirty Laundry

With all the new house guests, we have to up the chores around the house. Ewww, I know. But there are so many in the house now and they all have been in the attic for so long. You can't believe how dirty these toys got just laying around. So Erin's mom showed up to help us out.

We had piles and piles of laundry, and the washer and dryer were just not going to get to it all. Erin's mom showed us how we could speed up the process. And I think Erin figured out how to use the record button on her camera just so she could have proof that we sheep do know how to clean.

Remember this moment people, because it is not going to happen again for a very, very, VERY long time.

Henry Ford would be proud.

Well, we got all the clothes cleaned and dried. And more important, we found a use for Erin's salad spinner. Poor thing never gets used; like Erin would ever make a salad.

Hmm, it's good I don't eat salad anyways. No way I'm having a sald at the Resort when I visit.

I think my mom was just happy the salad spinner was getting used. She gave it to me one year for Christmas after watching me wash lettuce. Wasn't sure what I was supposed to think of that gift anyway.

Hmm... I believe we used that spinner for Superbowl Sunday. Looks like we will be ordering in next year.

What in the world would one be making for Superbowl Sunday that would use a salad spinner. I'll allow veggie trays (just barely) but nothing more nutritious than that should ever be proffered at a Superbowl party

It was the lettuce for our sub sandwiches. I don't know, it is John's tradition. We were just being gracious hosts.

Justin- John likes submarine sandwiches for football. (I think it's a Tipton thing) I had a hankerin' for some wings, but they didn't listen to me.

I was also shocked Eryn had a salad spinner. Watching the process made me want one, then I realized I should probably use it for making salad (side note, why is it called a salad spinner when all you spin is lettuce)?

I don't think subs are a Tipton football tradition. I've been to several such parties and I don't recall anything as ridiculously nutritious as a sandwich. Sheesh.
